    Everest Expedition and Sherpa

    Nepal is the country full of ethnic diversity amongst them Sherpa is regarded as the elite mountaineers and experts in their local terrain. These people were immeasurably valuable to early explorers of the Mountainous region, serving as guides at the extreme altitude of the peaks and passes in the region, particularly for expeditions to climb Mount Everest. Sherpa people are technically sound. They are able to scale any mountains within hours. Today, the term SHERPA is often used by foreign people to refer to almost any guide or porter hired for mountaineering expedition in the Himalayas, regardless of their ethnicity.
